my besties abode: character kitchen + powder room renovation
A little bit fun, a little bit serene, a lot of character and detail.
The brief: design a kitchen for your best friend who loves nature, doesn’t like things hidden away, shares your love of beautiful things, art and delicious food…. and who trusts you implicitly to create a space that is reflection of it all.
The powder room was an exploration in not taking design, or our spaces, too seriously. The directive was to “make it weird”, but also well designed, practical and beautiful.
